Speaker: Dr. Choy Foon Seng

Diploma in Animal Science and Husbandry at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) follow by his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the same institution. His experience between Zoos and rebabilitation centers in West and East Malaysia researching on the difference in lipid profile and stress levels of captive and semi captive orang utans. 2008, he received the chance of a lifetime where he was offered a 1-year Zoological medicine internship at the University of Georgia, USA. Following the internship, he returned back to Malaysia in 2009 to help develop the Zoo industry. He is currently the veterinarian of Zoo Taiping & Night Safari and take care of its 1800 animals of over 200 species.
